Subject: Fun and well played
This incarnation is enjoyable and the second set is well played but with all these new mini PL & F bands, and the end of Furthur, we have enter a new era which prevents a band from growing and developing into its best potentially.
Which can equate to one night being exceptional, or in this case good, and the next night is meh.
Yes it has always been that way but with the consolidation of almost every east coast Phil gig to the Capitol Theater exclusively this has created a lack of excitement from this 40 year fan, plus it is just too expensive at that place to see more than one show in a run.
Plus with already hearing a similar strategy for the 50th well that is how the business goes...these days all the time.
